Fremont Mission moves to new home
Dec 31st, 2009 • Section: Featured, Parish Life
On Sunday, December 20, 2009, the faithful parishioners of St. Christina’s Mission in Fremont, California, celebrated the last Divine Liturgy in the little “house church” that we had been using until a suitable replacement could be found. Following the liturgy, a procession led by our pastor, Father Michael Anderson, took all the church appointments to our new home. Our first services in the new temple were for the joyous celebration of the Nativity of the Lord.
Although not finished with all the work, we can enjoy the space as we fulfill the City’s requirements. The beauty of the building, the wonderful acoustics and the “elbow room” make the services a joy to attend. Please come and join us if you are in the area. Our new address is 3721 Parish Ave., Fremont, CA 94536.
