The OCA Personal Assistance Program is available to all OCA employees, clergy (priests and deacons only), and their families. The most important part of the program is the 8 free counseling sessions a year (most EAP’s/PAP’s offer only three a year), but also lots of other services including discounts on everyday items.
The Personal Assistance Program is a special program developed with the blessing of the Holy Synod to assist clergy, church workers and their families with issues in need of counseling. All of the dioceses contribute to the program and the referrals are at no cost and strictly confidential with the company. The program is provided through an agreement with Magellan Health Services. To access the program, go to http://www.magellanassist.com
Click on “New or Unregistered Users,” enter the OCA plan’s toll free number, 1-800-523-5668, the organization name is “Orthodox Church in America,” and follow the instructions.
