Today, January 24th, 2020, marks the fifth anniversary of the ordination to the holy episcopate of Diocesan Auxiliary Bishop DANIEL (Brum) of Santa Rosa. His Grace received the laying on of hands at Holy Trinity Cathedral in San Francisco from Metropolitan TIKHON, Archbishop BENJAMIN of San Francisco, Archbishop NATHANIEL of the Detroit and the Romanian Episcopate, Archbishop MELCHISEDEK of Pittsburgh, (then) Bishop MICHAEL of New York, (then) Bishop DAVID of Sitka, Bishop PAUL of Chicago, and Bishop JOHN, then of Naro-Fominsk, Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA.
Vladyka DANIEL has since that time faithfully fulfilled his role as auxiliary to Archbishop BENJAMIN while remaining the rector of SS Peter & Paul Orthodox Church in Phoenix, AZ, and while serving as Chancellor of the Diocese of the West since the retirement of Chancellor-Emeritus Archpriest Ian MacKinnon. His Grace also served as the Dean of the Desert Deanery until recently. In addition to these duties, His Grace often works on special assignments for the Holy Synod as a canon lawyer.
