Dear Very Reverend and Reverend Fathers and Mothers, Esteemed Council Members:
His Eminence, Archbishop Benjamin asks parishes to make a special collection this Sunday and to encourage generous giving for the victims of the February 6 earthquake in Syria and Turkey. The suffering there is immense.
His Eminence asks that funding be directed to IOCC which has a goal of $250K to meet the needs of most pressing urgency: food, bedding, and clothing for those who have been displaced.

The Diocese of the West is the geographical district of the Orthodox Church in America consisting of the Western United States. The diocese has active parishes in Montana, Colorado, Arizona, Nevada, Washington, Oregon, California and Hawaii.
