Rocky Mountain Deanery Young Adult Gathering (October 23-24, 2026)

Are you a young adult (18-29 years old) who worships at one of our parishes in the Rocky Mountain Deanery? Are you looking to connect with other Orthodox Christians your age? As part of the Diocese of the West’s decisive step to build community and deepen faith among young adults, we are pleased to announce a Young Adult Gathering taking place in our Rocky Mountain Deanery, hosted at Holy Theophany Church in Colorado Springs. This gathering will take place October 23-24, 2026, following the Diocese of the West’s annual assembly, which is also being hosted by Holy Theophany.

The gathering will center around embodied fellowship, with teaching and conversations exploring an untethered digital world that demands our attention, (human!) intelligence, emotions, and belief. We expect His Grace, Bishop Vasily, to address our group.

This gathering marks the beginning of frequent and regular gatherings to be offered in the Diocese’s four regional deaneries as a means of providing stronger experiences of belonging, friendship, mentorship, and Christian community for young adults.

Festivities will kick off with a Square Dance on Friday, October 23, and will conclude with a celebratory dinner following Vespers on Saturday, October 24. The early bird registration fee is $50 before October 1. Late registration, if space allows, will be $90. The full schedule, including additional speakers and discussion topics, is coming soon!

Traveling from out of town? A room block is available at the Best Western Plus Fillmore Inn & Suites.

Please use the form below to register. Registration closes October 1, 2026. Questions? Please reach out to Brittany Yeager at brittany@dowoca.org. We look forward to gathering with you!
